Danesa Batrez, MSW is a compassionate Supervisee in Social Work who believes that true healing begins in a safe, supportive environment where individuals feel heard, valued, and empowered. She earned her Bachelor of Science from Saint Leo University, her Master of Business Administration from Brandman University, and her Master of Social Work from Simmons University. Her educational journey, combined with her military service and clinical experience, has strengthened her commitment to providing ethical, compassionate, and client-centered care. Danesa believes that every person is uniquely created by God with purpose, value, and dignity, and she considers it a privilege to walk alongside clients as they navigate life's challenges through the hope found in Jesus Christ.

As a proud United States Navy veteran with more than ten years of military service, Danesa brings a heart for service, resilience, and unwavering dedication to helping others through difficult seasons of life. Her experience includes providing individual and group therapy for adolescents and adults facing substance use, trauma, domestic violence, anxiety, depression, stress, relationship concerns, and significant life transitions. She understands that seeking help requires courage and strives to create an atmosphere where clients feel seen, supported, and encouraged as they begin their healing journey.

Danesa takes a person-centered, strengths-based approach to therapy while integrating evidence-based practices such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing, Solution-Focused Therapy, and mindfulness techniques. She believes clinical excellence and biblical truth work together to foster lasting transformation. By combining sound therapeutic interventions with the principles of God's Word, she partners with clients to build resilience, strengthen healthy coping skills, renew hope, and pursue meaningful change.

As a Christian counselor at Release It Counseling, Danesa believes that Jesus Christ is the ultimate source of healing, restoration, and hope. She is committed to providing compassionate care that reflects Christ's love while helping clients address emotional, relational, and spiritual challenges from a biblical perspective. Her desire is to create a welcoming environment where individuals can experience grace, truth, and encouragement while growing in emotional wellness and spiritual maturity. Danesa is passionate about serving adolescents and adults who are seeking freedom from the burdens of trauma, anxiety, depression, addiction, and life's many transitions. She believes no one is beyond God's reach and that healing is possible through faith, perseverance, and compassionate support. It is her joy to walk alongside clients as they discover renewed purpose, deeper peace, and the confidence to embrace the life God has called them to live.

At Release It Counseling, Danesa considers it a blessing to serve individuals and families with excellence, integrity, and Christ-centered compassion. Her prayer is that every client who walks through the doors will experience hope, healing, and restoration as they learn to release what has been holding them back and move forward in the freedom found through Jesus Christ.
