Introducing Mrs. Whitney Smith-Johnson, our esteemed Chief Executive Officer, a dedicated Licensed Clinical Social Worker with a passion for making a positive impact on individuals' lives. Whitney holds a Master of Social Work degree from the University of New England, specializing in administration and community development, and is an alumna of Elizabeth City State University. With a rich educational background, Whitney brings over seven years of post-graduate work experience as a therapist, contributing to her expertise in the field. Her commitment to excellence is evident in her role overseeing both the administration and clinical services of our agency. Whitney takes a hands-on approach, personally conducting referrals and clinical assessments to ensure that each client is seamlessly connected with the most suitable therapist. Whitney is licensed as a LCSW in Virginia, North Carolina & Texas.

 

Beyond her role as CEO, Whitney is a multifaceted professional, excelling as an author, life coach, and philanthropist. Currently pursuing a Master in Law with a concentration in business law at Regent University's Law School, she continues to expand her knowledge and skills to further benefit our community.

 

Whitney's therapeutic specialization covers a spectrum of areas, including generalized anxiety, bipolar disorders, borderline personality disorder, dependent personality disorder, Cancer care, substance abuse, marital counseling, and trauma. Her dedication to professional development is underscored by her certification in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), showcasing her commitment to staying at the forefront of evidence-based practices.

 

In addition to her professional pursuits, Whitney is deeply engaged in community development, leveraging her educational background to implement effective administrative policies. Her holistic approach to social work reflects not only in her professional endeavors but also in her genuine concern for the well-being of those she serves.
